This transceiver complies with Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) connector to allow hot plug application. It is afiber optical module that designed by using high-speed laser diode provided as light source and a single PIN detector for receiver. An EEPROM contained the detailed product information for the host equipment is accessed by the 2-wire serial CMOS EEPROM protocol. It complies with Class 1 laser products and EN60825-1.
